1937-2004

Charles Reed founder of Lamb Broadcasting, preached his first sermon on  November 1, 1953 at the age of 16.On November 1, 2003 he celebrated 50 years of ministry. During that time he served as an evangelist preaching revivals all over the country. Brother Reed also pastored churches in Kansas Missouri and Louisiana. In 1986 He became involved in Christian Television with KMCT Channel 39 In West Monroe, Louisiana. Brother Reed later formed Lamb Broadcasting and purchased KMCT-TV and kept Christian Television on the air in North East Louisiana. During that time hundreds of thousands of people have called the prayer line, resulting in thousands being saved, though his program Fully Alive. He also served on the board for the Southwest Chapter of the National Religious Broadcasting Convention. Brother Reed recently was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by Oral Roberts University.

On Feb. 17 2004 he went to be with the Lord. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a spiritual father figure to countless others. He will be greatly missed. However his ministry will continue to impact people for years to come. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
